The Nineteenth Key to Lasting Prosperity:

"Lead in Your Field"

Dear Wealth Creator,

Whatever you spend your time doing, doing it the best you can is your greatest personal reward. When you are entirely satisfied that you have done the best job possible, you are filled with an inner strength and pride that will transfer itself to the people you work for - whether that be your boss, your clients - even your partner, friends and family.

We all know how failures deal with projects - do them badly so that no-one will ask for their help again.

The opposite is true. Complete projects well and repeat business is assured.

Becoming wealthy is a process. It's a series of actions on your part that are consistent and goal driven. Giving everything your best shot is something you owe to yourself in the long term.

Too many failures blame other people or circumstances for lack of success when all they had to do was give just that little bit more of themselves.

Do your best. Sounds great in theory doesn't it? But how do we know when our best is good enough?

I was thinking just yesterday that it's all very well reading about and learning the tools for success but, if you followed all the advice, how could you possibly live up to the kind of person you'd need to be? Isn't it impossible to be that good, that determined, hard working and inspired?

Perhaps that's the point. You don't need to be perfect - just to want to aspire to perfection. You don't have to be Superman, only to be aware of the facets that make up supermen - and superwomen, of course.

The best we can do is not to strive for perfection and miss - and suffer the consequent loss of confidence - but to do the best we can at the time, and be satisfied with that.
